Uzbekistan Wins Gold at Canoe Sprint World Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s representative Arthur Guliev has won the gold medal at the second stage of the Canoe Sprint World Cup held in the German city of Brandenburg, competing in the men’s 200-meter canoe event.

In the final race, Guliev finished with a time of 38.44 seconds, edging out his rivals in a tightly contested finish.

Spain’s Pablo Grana took second place with a time of 38.63 seconds, while Russia’s Sergey Svinarev came third, finishing in 39.09 seconds.

The victory marks one of the most notable results for the Uzbek national team in international competitions this season and strengthens Uzbekistan’s position in canoe sprint disciplines on the global stage.
