Uzbekistan to Revoke Licenses of 107 Drivers Over Penalty Points

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, 107 drivers who accumulated more than 12 penalty points for traffic violations will have their driving licenses revoked through court decisions.

Following the relevant court rulings, these drivers will be required to undergo retraining and pass examinations in order to restore their right to operate a vehicle.

Under current regulations, individuals whose licenses are revoked must complete a full theoretical and practical training course at specialized driving schools for the relevant vehicle category. After completing the training, they must pass a theoretical exam, in which at least 46 correct answers out of 50 questions are required.

It is noted that citizens can check their accumulated penalty points through the “Smart” mobile application of the Road Safety Service.
