Uzbekistan Studies Korean Experience in Digital Law and AI

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan, within the framework of the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) of the Republic of Korea for 2025–2026, made a working visit to South Korea from May 17 to 23, according to the results of the trip.

During the program, participants were presented with materials covering the legal system of the Republic of Korea, the use of digital technologies in drafting and amending legal acts, as well as modern mechanisms for delivering legal information to the public.

Special attention was given to advanced experience in applying digital solutions in the legal sector.

As part of the visit, members of the Uzbek delegation held meetings with staff of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, the Constitutional Court, the Ministry of Government Legislation, the Korea Legislation Research Institute, as well as IT companies working in the legal sector.

Following the program, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Center for Legal Information “Adolat” under the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan and the Korea Legislation Research Institute. The document provides for cooperation in the use and dissemination of legal information.

The parties also discussed prospects for digitalization of the legal sphere, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, and possible joint projects.

The Korean side noted the importance of the meetings held and their contribution to the development of digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies in the legal field.
