Uzbekistan National Team Sent Off to FIFA World Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A ceremonial send-off for the Uzbekistan national football team took place today, 26 May, at Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent as the squad departed to participate in the FIFA World Cup.

The team departed at 06:45 local time on Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-101 on the Tashkent–New York route aboard a specially branded aircraft designed in support of the national team.
