Uzbekistan FM Meets Riyadh Governor to Boost Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met on 3 May in Riyadh with Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh Province, to discuss prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation.

The talks were held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and underscored the high level of Uzbekistan–Saudi Arabia relations. The Uzbek delegation expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended in Saudi Arabia, noting that it reflects the kingdom’s traditions and openness.

Both sides gave a high assessment of the dynamic development of cooperation between the two countries, which is based on trust, friendship, and shared aspirations for sustainable development and economic growth.

During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in further deepening the partnership and enriching cooperation with new content, including expanding contacts at the regional level.

Particular attention was paid to promising areas of interaction of mutual interest, with both sides expressing readiness to advance practical cooperation in these fields.
