Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzum Tezkor has officially been recognized as the dominant operator in the digital platform sector for food and consumer goods delivery aggregators in Uzbekistan. This decision was announced by the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights of Uzbekistan.

The decision was made by the Competition Committee based on an order confirming the company’s dominant status in the market.

The basis for this decision was a notification submitted by the operator to the Committee, highlighting its performance indicators that align with the criteria for a dominant market position.

The Committee also stated that an antitrust compliance system would be implemented for the operator with dominant status. This mandatory requirement is aimed at preventing potential abuses and ensuring compliance with competition laws. Additionally, the platform’s activities will be subject to continuous monitoring.
