Uzum and Hamroh Join Forces to Empower Women Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 June, Hamroh and Uzbekistan’s national digital ecosystem Uzum signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs across the country.
As part of this partnership, a dedicated section will be launched on the Uzum Market platform to showcase products created by women engaged in entrepreneurial activities, including participants of Hamroh’s support programs.
Women from various regions of Uzbekistan will gain access to training sessions led by Uzum experts. These sessions will cover key aspects of running an online business — from sales organization and product promotion to the effective use of digital tools for growing their ventures.
In addition, the initiative will launch a grant fund of 1 billion soums, offering financial support to women entrepreneurs looking to start or expand their businesses.
“We are building a modern logistics and IT infrastructure that is accessible to all entrepreneurs, regardless of their scale or location. At Uzum, we firmly believe that sustainable development begins with equal access to opportunity. That’s why we are proud to support women across the country who are striving for growth and success,”
— said Jasur Jumaev, CEO and founder of Uzum.
