Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The leadership of the Uztextileprom Association, together with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, held talks with representatives of X5 Group, one of Russia’s largest retail chains, which holds approximately 16% of the country’s retail market under brands such as Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, and Chizhik.

The meeting focused on expanding the supply of Uzbek textile products to X5 Group’s retail networks. The parties also addressed existing trade barriers and explored potential solutions to overcome them.

Uztextileprom reaffirmed its commitment to boosting Uzbekistan’s export capacity and strengthening partnerships with leading international retailers.
