Uzkimyosanoat JSC and Sinoma EC International Investment Co. Ltd Sign Cooperation Agreement
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 June, negotiations were held between Uzkimyosanoat JSC and the Chinese company Sinoma EC International Investment Co. Ltd.
The meeting focused on securing alternative energy sources for enterprises within the Uzkimyosanoat system and reducing the production cost of manufactured goods.
Following the discussions, the two sides signed an agreement on the implementation of joint projects.
Founded in 1987, Sinoma EC International Investment Co. Ltd has a capitalization of approximately USD 600 billion and employs around 2,000 specialists. The company specializes in the construction of power plants based on waste heat recovery (WHR) from industrial processes, as well as in bioenergy, geothermal, and solar energy solutions.
With a portfolio of more than 1,000 projects worldwide, Sinoma is a recognized global leader in sustainable energy infrastructure.
The signed agreement marks an important step toward increasing the share of renewable energy sources in Uzbekistan’s industrial sector, in line with the goals set out in the country’s “Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy.
