Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Akbar Sultanov, Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, held a meeting with J. Rodriguez, Director of the Spanish company Xporting Goods Europe (XGE), to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation and the promotion of Uzbek leather industry products in the European Union market, particularly in Spain.

XGE, an international trade organization, specializes in foreign economic activities and identifying potential business partners.

During the negotiations, XGE representatives presented proposals for expanding the sales of Uzbek leather goods in Europe. Additionally, the company expressed readiness to organize professional development courses and training sessions on marketing strategies aligned with European standards, as well as effective promotion techniques for local manufacturers.

The parties also agreed to cooperate in facilitating the participation of Uzbek leather producers in leading international exhibitions, business missions, and negotiations with European brands specializing in footwear and leather products.

These initiatives aim to integrate Uzbekistan’s leather industry into the global market, enhance export opportunities, and strengthen the international presence of local manufacturers.
