Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 May, the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC held a working meeting with the President of SLB for the Asia region to discuss key aspects of bilateral cooperation.

The central focus of the discussions was the implementation of the Field Management Agreement for the Ustyurt region, signed as part of the strategic partnership between the two companies.

Both sides reviewed in detail the organizational and technical milestones necessary for the project launch. This includes forming a joint management team and promptly engaging highly qualified international experts.

Priority tasks identified during the meeting included infrastructure preparation, coordination of a detailed initial phase work plan, and execution of key organizational arrangements.

Special emphasis was placed on long-term cooperation goals, such as enhancing resource management efficiency, integrating cutting-edge technological solutions and expanding geological exploration activities across promising sites

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to a comprehensive and systematic approach based on mutual benefit and a focus on sustainable outcomes. They stressed the importance of timely and high-quality execution of agreed plans and expressed readiness to jointly advance strategic initiatives aimed at the sustainable development of Uzbekistan’s oil and gas industry.
