Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 June 2025, the management of Uzbekneftegaz JSC held a meeting with a delegation from the Export-Import Bank of China, led by its Chairman, Mr. Chen Huaiyu.

During the talks, the parties thoroughly discussed the current state of Uzbekneftegaz's production operations, as well as the company’s strategic development priorities in the near future.

Special attention was given to the implementation of investment programs, financing mechanisms for key projects, and opportunities for involving Chinese partners in their execution.

The two sides reviewed in detail the forms of support the Export-Import Bank of China could provide under new initiatives, including the financing of contracts with Chinese companies and the promotion of promising projects in the energy sector.

Both parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in deepening their partnership and building a sustainable, mutually beneficial relationship.

The meeting concluded with the signing of an official Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Export-Import Bank of China. The document marks the beginning of a new stage of bilateral collaboration and lays a solid foundation for the implementation of joint projects of strategic importance to both sides.
