Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at Uzbekneftegaz JSC with representatives of the Chinese company CNODC, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the upcoming Energy Week scheduled for 13–15 May.

During the talks, the parties discussed promising areas for geological exploration at new sites with high development potential.

Special emphasis was placed on enhancing the operational efficiency and profitability of the joint venture “New Silk Road Oil and Gas.” Experts closely examined the ongoing implementation of joint projects in this context.

A separate topic of discussion focused on the integration of modern digital solutions into geological exploration activities. This includes the use of advanced software tools, sedimentary basin modeling technologies, and seismic data interpretation methods.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further expanding their beneficial cooperation and strengthening the existing partnership.
