Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the sidelines of the 13th Meeting of Transport Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), held in Tehran, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov met with ECO Secretary General Asad Majid Khan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current state and future prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly focusing on expanding collaboration among ECO member states in trade, transport, logistics, and tourism.

Special attention was given to the development of an efficient, safe, and integrated transport network across the ECO region, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and promoting sustainable economic growth.
