Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 May, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with representatives of Azerbaijan’s leading real estate developer PASHA Real Estate and the U.S.-based international hospitality group Marriott International.

The main focus of the meeting was the progress of the ambitious US$200 million project to construct a state-of-the-art five-star hotel and residential complex under the Ritz-Carlton brand in Tashkent.

The project’s master plan has been developed in collaboration with the UK-based architectural firm Benoy. To date, earthworks have been fully completed, 300,000 cubic meters of soil have been removed, foundation piles have been installed across the entire site, and concrete pouring for the foundation has begun.

At the conclusion of the meeting, all parties reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring timely and high-quality completion of the project, and expressed readiness to further expand cooperation through the development of new joint ventures.
