Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Participates in Fourth “Central Asia–India” Dialogue
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, took part in the fourth ministerial meeting within the framework of the “Central Asia–India” dialogue.
“Together with my colleagues, we held the fourth meeting of the Central Asia–India Ministerial Dialogue. I express my sincere gratitude to the External Affairs Minister of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, for the warm welcome and hospitality,” the Uzbek foreign minister noted on his Telegram channel.
During the talks, the sides discussed key issues on both the regional and bilateral agendas, including the strengthening of transport, logistics, and trade links, promoting stability and security, expanding technological partnerships, and advancing the sustainable development agenda.
“We reached meaningful agreements and presented new initiatives. There is still much work ahead that will require joint effort. I am confident that this dialogue format makes a substantial contribution to reinforcing our existing ties and opens new horizons for cooperation between our region and India,” the minister emphasized.
