Uzbekistan’s Construction Materials Exports Exceed US$428 Million in the First Half of the Year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzpromstroymaterialy Association has presented an analysis of Uzbekistan’s construction materials exports for January–June 2025.

According to figures announced by Jamshid Shermetov, Head of the Association’s Information Service, the sector exported goods worth US$428.4 million in the first half of the year.

The largest export destinations were Russia — US$107 million (ceramic and metal products, stone items, PVC profiles, pipes, and fittings), Kazakhstan — US$94.7 million (dry building mixes, gypsum board, PVC profiles, metal products), Kyrgyzstan — US$64.4 million, Tajikistan — US$53.7 million, Azerbaijan — US$9.7 million, and Turkmenistan — US$9.3 million.

To expand export opportunities, Uzbekistan has opened Trade Houses, showrooms, and warehouses in Baku, Dushanbe, Lahore, Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif, Jalal-Abad, Ulaanbaatar, and Aktau. These facilities showcase more than 50 types of domestically produced construction materials with high added value.

For product promotion, Uzbek companies took part in international business forums and exhibitions, including Innoprom Central Asia 2025 in Tashkent, the Russia–Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2025 in Kazan, Made in Uzbekistan exhibitions in Tbilisi and Ulaanbaatar, as well as the International Exhibition of Turkic States in Baku.

In addition, the company Ernst & Young has been engaged to conduct marketing research on domestic and international markets. Based on international expertise, market analyses are planned for North America, Russia and the Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Europe, with the aim of identifying new promising destinations to diversify exports.
