Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and CCPIT Agree to Expand Cooperation in Key Economic Sectors
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Uzbekistan, Dilshod Rasulov, held talks with a delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) — a key Chinese institution responsible for fostering international economic relations. The delegation was led by Li Xingqian, Vice Chairman of CCPIT and member of the Party leadership.
During the meeting, the two sides placed strong emphasis on enhancing trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, promoting mutually beneficial investment projects, and advancing joint industrial initiatives.
As a result of the talks, both parties reached a mutual understanding on expanding partnership across priority sectors, including green energy, mechanical engineering, textile manufacturing, agricultural processing, and the food industry.
The discussions also covered practical steps for organizing sectoral exhibitions and investment forums, strengthening direct ties between business communities of both countries, and launching regular information exchange through digital trade channels and e-commerce platforms.
An agreement was also reached to hold the next meeting on June 17 in Astana during the “Central Asia–China” forum, where further prospects for deepening economic and investment cooperation will be explored.
