Uzbekistan to strengthen responsibility for illegal inspection of businesses

The document has been developed in order to implement the State Programme “The Year of Small Business and Private Entrepreneurship”.

The law envisages introduction of responsibility for initiating and holding inspections, suspending activity of businesses and operations of their bank accounts of the officials, who have not authority, as well as request information on cash on their accounts.

After discussions, the MPs passed the law and directed it to the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan for approval.
