Uzbekistan, Sweden explore opportunities to expand bilateral investment cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 May, Mansur Rasulov, Director of Uzbekistan’s Agency for Attracting Foreign Investment under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, held a meeting with a Swedish business delegation led by Camilla Melander, Director-General of the Department for Trade Policy at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
The discussions focused on the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation, with particular attention to industry, electrical engineering, agriculture, and geology.
The two sides agreed on specific measures to boost mutual trade and attract potential Swedish investors to Uzbekistan.
The Swedish delegation was presented with a detailed overview of Uzbekistan’s economic potential, highlighting favorable investment conditions and export opportunities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their readiness to actively promote joint investment projects, deepen practical cooperation, and support new collaborative initiatives.
