Uzbekistan Signs US$68 Million in Export Contracts at Turkic States Trade Forum in Baku

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s delegation, led by representatives of the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, took part in the Second Turkic States Trade Forum held from 10 to 12 June 2025, in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

The forum brought together entrepreneurs and business communities from more than 20 countries, serving as a significant platform for strengthening trade and economic cooperation. Uzbekistan was represented by over 50 companies that showcased their products under the unified national brand Made in Uzbekistan. The exposition highlighted goods from the electronics and textile industries, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, and furniture.

During the event, ministry representatives held a series of B2B meetings with leading Azerbaijani importers. Negotiations were conducted with major trading and construction companies including Greyenstream International, Uni Tiles MMC, International Logistic Group, Nabucco A&C, MR Group, Hayat, Sahil Inshaat 2020, and others.

Uzbek companies such as New Best Style, Lux Ceramics Group, Zhong Peng Ceramics Group International, and Ekokerama drew particular interest from Uni Tiles MMC. As a result of the talks, the company reached an agreement with the Uzsanoatqurilishmateriallari Association to supply US$1 million worth of construction materials by the end of 2025.

Another major deal was an export contract between New Best Style and Sahil Inshaat 2020 for the supply of PVC decorative panels worth US$500,000. In addition, partnerships were established with the Association of Builders and Manufacturers of Azerbaijan (ATIA) to further boost trade in the construction materials sector.

In the textile industry, agreements were signed between MMS Universal Trade XI (Azerbaijan) and Artatex (Uzbekistan) for the export of ready-made knitwear. A separate agreement was reached for the regular delivery of 35 tons of dyed knitted fabric from Orzu-Teks.

The total volume of export contracts signed during the forum reached approximately US$68 million. These include shipments of 10,000 square meters of porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles, batches of children’s and workwear, 5,000 units of climate control equipment, and other goods. By the end of 2025, total export volumes are expected to reach US$350 million.

One of the forum’s most notable outcomes was a preliminary agreement to open a permanent 1,500-square-meter showroom of Uzbek products at the Turkic States Trade Center in Baku. This move will serve as a key step in ensuring the sustainable and long-term presence of Uzbek goods in the Azerbaijani market.
