Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary hosted a “Road-show” event aimed at promoting the country’s tourism potential, according to the Dunyo news agency.

The presentation brought together representatives of the tourism industries of both countries. The Hungarian audience was introduced to Uzbekistan’s historic cities, rich national traditions, cultural heritage, and the growing opportunities made possible by the country’s rapidly developing tourism infrastructure.

A key focus of the event was the organization of bilateral B2B meetings between tour operators from Uzbekistan and Hungary. These discussions explored the potential for expanding cooperation, launching new travel routes, and enhancing mutual service exchanges in the tourism sector.

Guests also enjoyed traditional Uzbek cuisine served on a cultural dastarkhan, creating an immersive atmosphere of hospitality and cultural exchange.

This event marked another step forward in strengthening tourism ties between Uzbekistan and Hungary and is expected to contribute to a growing flow of Hungarian visitors to the country.
