Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the international exhibition Big 5 Construct Saudi, held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

As part of the event, the Ministry, in coordination with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Saudi Arabia and the UzElectroTech Industry Association, organized the national stand "Made in Uzbekistan."

During the exhibition, the Uzbek delegation held negotiations with leading Saudi companies Shaker, Zameel, and Riyadh Cable regarding direct supplies of electrical equipment from Uzbekistan. Special emphasis was placed on the participation of Uzbek manufacturers in Saudi Arabia’s largest infrastructure projects, including Neom and The Line.

As a result of the meetings, export contracts and preliminary agreements were reached for the supply of household and industrial electrical equipment to Saudi Arabia.
