Uzbekistan produces localized goods for 3.89 trln. soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced 3.892 trillion soums of localized goods within the state localization programme, which grew by 25.7% year-on-year, a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Economy and the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Uzbekistan launched production of 170 new products, including engines, cables, pumps, passenger wagons, telecommunication equipment, etc.

In the result, Uzbekistan was able to replace imported goods for US$2.1 billion. Share of exports of localized goods grew from 24.7% to 25.3%.
