Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has seen a significant increase in wafer production.

According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, large enterprises produced 7,872 tons of wafers between January and June 2025.

This figure is 2,200 tons, or 39.3%, higher than during the same period last year.

For comparison, wafer production in the first half of 2023 stood at 2,612 tons, rising to 5,650 tons in 2024, and reaching 7,872 tons in 2025.
