Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 March, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Ilzat Kasimov, held a meeting with Hiroki Shukuya, General Director of Summit Motors Central Asia, and Akira Ito, Head of Sumitomo’s Representative Office in Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation, including plans to establish a Regional Toyota Training Center in Tashkent. The center will train specialists in Toyota vehicle maintenance, as well as in spare parts and consumables to meet regional demands.

Additionally, the project envisions the creation of a centralized warehouse and an inspection center, which will enhance the quality of customer service.

Summit Motors Central Asia has been the official distributor of Toyota in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan since 2018.
