Uzbekistan Plans to Introduce Bolt Platform
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During his visit to London, Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev held a meeting with Gert-Jan Kistemaker, Global Director for Partner Markets at Bolt.
The discussions focused on the potential entry of the Bolt platform into the Uzbek market.
Special attention was given to the possible implementation of various services offered by the company, including ride-hailing, food and parcel delivery, as well as electric scooter rentals.
It was emphasized that the launch of these services in Uzbekistan could significantly enhance transport accessibility and convenience for both local residents and foreign tourists.
Both parties expressed mutual interest in carrying out a pilot project in one of Uzbekistan’s major cities, with a view to future expansion into other regions.
It was noted that the introduction of such a modern and flexible platform would support the digital development of urban infrastructure and improve the quality of services in the tourism sector.
