Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26–27 March, London hosted the Uzbekistan Investor Day, organized by Raiffeisen Bank International and Finasia Capital. The event brought together representatives from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, UzAssets JSC, state institutions, and commercial banks.

Discussions covered Uzbekistan’s structural reforms, macroeconomic indicators, financial stability, international reserves management, and inflation control. State-owned commercial banks also presented their 2024 financial performance and 2025 development strategies, according to the Central Bank.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation and hold regular investor meetings.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the event featured talks with over 30 international investors, as well as representatives from credit rating agencies, investment banks, and law firms.

During Uzbekistan Investor Day, a delegation comprising officials from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Central Bank, and UzAssets JSC provided insights into the country’s key macroeconomic indicators, the banking sector, structural reforms, privatization process, and foreign investment policies.

Leading Uzbek companies and banks also held dedicated presentations for institutional investors, showcasing plans for international bond issuance and the initial public offerings (IPOs) of several enterprises.

One of the highlights of the event was a meeting at the London Stock Exchange, where the Uzbek delegation held discussions with Citibank, ICBC Standard, Standard Chartered Bank, JPMorgan, and Deutsche Bank.

As a result of these meetings, new partnerships were established, and agreements were reached on further collaboration and attracting foreign investment into Uzbekistan’s economy.
