Uzbekistan Increases Tea Imports in the First Half of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Between January and June 2025, Uzbekistan imported 15,553 tons of tea worth a total of US$23.3 million, according to the National Committee of Statistics.
China was the main supplier during this period, accounting for 12,475 tons of imports.
Kenya ranked second with 659 tons, followed by Iran (538 tons), Kazakhstan (468 tons), and India (382 tons).
From other countries combined, Uzbekistan imported an additional 1,031 tons of tea over the same period.
