Uzbekistan Imports Ice Cream Worth US$9.4 Million from 13 Countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first half of 2025, Uzbekistan imported ice cream and frozen products from 13 countries totaling US$9.4 million, according to the National Committee of Statistics.

The volume of imports increased by 440 tonnes compared to the same period last year. The main suppliers of ice cream to Uzbekistan were Russia, Kazakhstan, and China. Russia supplied 828 tonnes, Kazakhstan — 648 tonnes, and China — 187 tonnes.

Belarus also delivered 73 tonnes, while France supplied 33 tonnes. Other countries accounted for 55 tonnes of products. The growth in imports reflects rising consumer demand for ice cream in Uzbekistan and a wider variety of choices for consumers.
