Uzbekistan imports additional volumes of electricity from Tajikistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan has begun importing additional volumes of electricity from Tajikistan. This was reported by the Surkhandarya branch of the Regional Electric Networks (RES).

Electricity was sent to consumers of Surkhandarya region.

In particular, electricity comes from the Regar-500 substation located in Tajikistan.

The Surkhandarya branch of the RES did not report the volume of imported electricity.
