Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, visited the Karamay Cloud Computing Industrial Park, located in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

The Karamay Cloud Computing Industrial Park is one of China’s key hubs for the development of the digital economy, bringing together leading companies that operate using big data analytics and other cutting-edge digital technologies.

During the visit, the minister became acquainted with the park’s production processes, technological solutions, and digital infrastructure. Discussions also took place on the region’s ongoing innovation projects and the collaborative efforts between Chinese companies and the public sector.

This visit is expected to become a significant step toward studying China’s advanced experience in digital technology, strengthening bilateral partnerships, and accelerating the development of Uzbekistan’s own digital infrastructure.
