Uzbekistan expands electricity products export to the Afghan market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 10 to 13 May 2025, important meetings and initiatives in the energy sector are taking place in Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif as part of the visit of Uzbek entrepreneurs. One of the key events was the opening of the "Made in Uzbekistan" trade house, actively participating in the Uzbek electricity sector, offering a wide range of products.

The trade house, created to showcase Uzbekistan's products in Kabul, serves as a permanent platform for the sale of energy products tailored to the needs of the Afghan market. This opens up new opportunities for Uzbek entrepreneurs, enabling them to establish direct trade connections with local buyers and strengthen economic cooperation.

During the visit, representatives from the "Uzeltihsanoat" Association are actively negotiating with Afghan energy companies. Issues such as concluding direct trade contracts, implementing long-term projects, and strengthening cooperation are being discussed. In-depth market analysis of Afghanistan is also being conducted to study its needs and requirements, allowing the adaptation of product assortments and increasing export volumes.

Such initiatives contribute to strengthening bilateral economic ties, expanding the presence of Uzbek goods in the Afghan market, and creating conditions for further growth in energy sector cooperation.
