Uzbekistan establishes state scholarship named after Abdulla Avloniy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree establishing a state scholarship named after Abdulla Avloniy for students of pedagogical universities.

According to the decree, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the scholarship will be awarded to one bachelor’s student in their penultimate or final year at each pedagogical university.

The scholarship is designed to encourage talented young people who have chosen the teaching profession and to enhance the prestige of pedagogical work in society.

It is noted that the criteria for awarding the scholarship are defined in accordance with the Presidential Decree “On measures to encourage the student youth of Uzbekistan.”
