Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and EBRD discuss new projects to support entrepreneurs
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting with a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
The discussion involved Alisher Shaykhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber, representatives of the industry associations Uzsanoatkurilishmateriallari and Uzcharmsanoat, as well as EBRD officials.
The parties examined prospects for elevating bilateral cooperation to a new level, financing opportunities for entrepreneurial entities, expanding their access to international financial markets, and implementing initiatives that promote business development and economic growth.
Special attention was given to the activities of the Entrepreneur Support Center for Access to External Financial Markets, established within the Chamber. It was noted that through the center, local entrepreneurs receive practical assistance and consultations in attracting international financial resources.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to implement joint projects, conduct training programs, and launch initiatives aimed at further developing business activity.
