Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of an official visit to China, the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, held a meeting with Mei Zhenhua, Vice President of ZTE Corporation for CIS and Asian countries.

During the talks, the parties discussed ongoing joint projects in recent years, including the development of telecommunications infrastructure, modernization of mobile operator networks, and advancements in information and communication technologies.

It was particularly noted that by the end of this year, new areas of cooperation in IT outsourcing will be developed based on ZTE’s representative office in Uzbekistan.

Several agreements and contracts were also signed between ZTE Corporation and leading telecommunications and mobile service operators in Uzbekistan during the meeting.

The Uzbek delegation also familiarized itself with ZTE’s latest technological solutions.

Cooperation with ZTE plays a key role in building modern telecommunications infrastructure, expanding digital services, and strengthening IT outsourcing capabilities in the country. The agreements reached are expected to deepen bilateral cooperation, promote the introduction of advanced technologies, and accelerate Uzbekistan’s digital transformation.
