Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 August 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan with the participation of a delegation led by the U.S. President’s Special Representative for Global Engagement.

The meeting included Minister of Mining and Geology B. Islamov, Minister of Energy J. Mirzakhmudov, U.S. Special Representative for Global Engagement Paolo Zampolli, and U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick.

The parties discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and implementing projects in the fields of mineral resources, industry, electrical engineering, and other priority sectors.
