Uzbekistan and Technip Energies Discuss New Projects in Energy and Critical Mineral Development
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 July, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with Luigi Fiorentino, Vice President of the international engineering company Technip Energies, and Gaetano Crisci, Director of the joint venture UTG Energies.
Technip Energies, a leading global engineering firm headquartered in France, implements large-scale projects in the energy, petrochemical, and infrastructure sectors, with a strong focus on sustainable energy, natural resource processing, and the introduction of advanced technologies.
The meeting explored prospects for deepening cooperation in key sectors such as the chemical and mining industries, agribusiness, and energy.
Particular attention was given to drafting project proposals for the development of critical minerals, which play a vital role in ensuring the resilience of global supply chains and driving industrial growth.
The parties also discussed opportunities to attract foreign direct investment and integrate international expertise into the implementation of promising projects in Uzbekistan.
