Uzbekistan and Stirling Foundation agree to implement inclusive social projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 April 2025, Shokhrukh Gulamov, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held negotiations with representatives of the American philanthropic organization, The Stirling Foundation.
The Stirling Foundation is an international charitable foundation established in 2008, headquartered in the state of Utah, USA. Currently, the organization cooperates with more than 100 partners across 40 countries, implementing projects in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the CIS countries, including Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, particularly the implementation of projects aimed at introducing a National Model of Inclusive Education, conducting professional development courses for educators, and developing transportation and social infrastructure for people with limited mobility, with the goal of creating an accessible and inclusive environment.
As a result of the negotiations, concrete agreements were reached on the implementation of initiatives focused on establishing support centers for parents of children with special needs, as well as developing the necessary infrastructure.
