Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 May 2025, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev held a meeting with a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, headed by the Deputy Minister of Energy Fuad Mosay.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in several priority areas, including the construction of affordable housing, the implementation of drip irrigation using polymer technologies, rational management of water resources, the development of distributed energy systems and infrastructure, sustainable transport, as well as financial and technical partnership issues.

The parties confirmed mutual interest in deepening bilateral ties and agreed to establish a mechanism for practical cooperation aimed at implementing the discussed initiatives and projects.
