Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia Discuss New Cooperation Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 September, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, held talks with a delegation of leading Saudi Arabian companies, led by Acwa Power’s Chairman of the Board, Mohammed Abunayyan.

The delegation also included executives from InterHealth, Vision Invest, Miahona, Riyadh Cables, Saudi Tabreed, Al Bawani, Al Kathiri Holding, Abunayyan Holding, Kdot Partners, and other corporations.

The discussions focused on potential cooperation in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, transport, energy, water supply, industrial collaboration, and the digital economy.

Particular attention was given to production localization, infrastructure modernization, and the implementation of innovative technologies.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the strategic nature of their partnership and agreed to jointly develop new projects aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and expanding economic cooperation.
