Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 June 2025, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhramjon Aloev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Uzbekistan, Mohammadali Eskandari.

During the talks, the parties reviewed current issues of bilateral cooperation and discussed prospects for further development of Uzbek-Iranian relations across several key areas, including politics, trade and economic cooperation, transport and logistics, culture, humanitarian affairs, and tourism.

Special attention was given to exchanging views on pressing regional issues, particularly efforts aimed at the peaceful resolution of the situation in the Middle East.
