Uzbekistan and Hungary boost cooperation in key economic sectors
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 7–8 May, a delegation from the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducted a working visit to Hungary.
During the visit, the Uzbek delegation held a series of productive and constructive meetings with representatives of Hungarian government bodies and business circles.
The discussions focused on strengthening trade, economic, and investment partnerships, exploring new and promising areas of cooperation, and advancing the practical implementation of previously reached agreements.
Particular emphasis was placed on the development of joint projects in strategically important sectors such as industry, energy, agriculture, logistics, and pharmaceuticals.
As a result of the visit, the working group developed a concrete portfolio of projects, which will serve as the basis for drafting and signing new bilateral agreements aimed at further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
