Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Ilzat Kasymov held a meeting with a delegation led by Wang Licheng, Chairman of the Board of the Chinese company Holley Group.

Founded in 1970 in China’s Zhejiang Province, Holley Group is one of the country’s largest private corporations. It ranks among the world’s top 500 enterprises and employs over 12,000 people. The company’s total assets exceed $7.5 billion.

The meeting focused on the current status of construction of the "Great Silk Road" industrial technopark in the city of Almalyk, which spans an area of 227.4 hectares.

Both sides expressed confidence that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Holley Group would contribute to the development of industrial infrastructure, foster a favorable environment for foreign investors, and help attract major manufacturing enterprises to the Uzbek market.
