Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of its visit to Singapore, a delegation from Uzbekistan’s State Customs Committee held a meeting with the CEO of Crimson Logic, Lawrence.

The discussions focused on developing cooperation with one of the world’s leading companies specializing in the digitalization of foreign trade and customs administration.

In recent years, Uzbekistan’s customs service has undergone a large-scale digital transformation. However, as the country’s president has emphasized, the modernization process must continue, requiring the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and the adaptation of international best practices to current conditions. To create a truly "smart customs" system, it is essential to integrate advanced solutions and leverage the full potential of digital tools.

During the talks, the parties explored the use of generative artificial intelligence, big data, and risk-based technologies in customs procedures.

Particular attention was given to analyzing and enhancing more than 30 digital systems already implemented within Uzbekistan’s customs authorities, with the involvement of Crimson Logic experts.

An agreement was reached to engage leading specialists from Crimson Logic in Uzbekistan for knowledge exchange, as well as to conduct regular online consultations between IT specialists from both countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their commitment to continuing cooperation and working out detailed mechanisms for integrating advanced technologies into Uzbekistan’s customs administration.
