Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his visit to the People’s Republic of China, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with the leadership of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

The talks focused on advancing information and communication technologies (ICT), enhancing digital infrastructure, supporting the digital economy, and deepening strategic bilateral cooperation.

Both sides highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise on emerging trends in their respective digital sectors, implementing joint projects, and expanding partnerships in the development of high-tech industries.

Particular attention was given to collaboration in priority areas such as ICT infrastructure, the creative economy, software development, IT outsourcing, and other key domains.
