Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During its ongoing visit to Beijing, the delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, held a series of high-level meetings.

Talks with Wang Maochun, Vice President of the China Chamber of International Commerce, focused on strengthening trade and investment ties, including potential cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.

The delegation also met with the leadership of China Resources Pharmaceutical Group, one of the largest players in China’s pharmaceutical market. Discussions covered investment opportunities in the sector, localization of production, tax and customs incentives, as well as prospects within the Tashkent Pharma Park project.

Additionally, negotiations were held with executives of UnicornShell (UnicornCaps), where the Uzbek side presented state support mechanisms for investors and explored new avenues of cooperation within the pharmaceutical cluster.
