Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Strategic Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 September, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a phone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov.

The two sides discussed the current state of bilateral partnership and its future prospects, as well as exchanged views on regional and global issues.

Particular attention was given to maintaining an active political dialogue, expanding economic cooperation, and implementing joint projects.

Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to deepening strategic ties and allied relations, built on historical traditions and mutual interests.
