Uzbekistan and Afghanistan Discuss Deepening Economic Cooperation and Joint Project Implementation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.
The two sides discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation, placing particular emphasis on expanding economic partnership and implementing joint infrastructure and trade-logistics projects.
Bakhtiyor Saidov reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s unwavering commitment to supporting efforts aimed at integrating Afghanistan into regional and global transport and economic networks.
He stressed that this approach serves as a vital foundation for achieving sustainable development and ensuring long-term stability in the region.
