Uzbekistan and Adani Discuss Major Investment Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held talks with Amit Singh, Chief Executive Officer for International Energy at India’s Adani Group, on 19 May, focusing on expanding investment cooperation and implementing large-scale joint projects.

Adani Group, one of India’s largest conglomerates, operates in port and logistics infrastructure, energy generation and transmission, renewable energy, urban gas distribution, airport management, and industrial materials production.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation in hydropower, mining, infrastructure development, and real estate. The Uzbek side presented a range of potential investment projects for further joint consideration with the Indian partner.

At the conclusion of the talks, Adani Group representatives praised Uzbekistan’s ongoing economic reforms and investment opportunities, expressing interest in expanding practical cooperation.

The parties agreed to continue joint work on advancing promising projects and developing mechanisms for further collaboration.
